It was released on December 7, 2021, over two years after the COVID-19 pandemic. The game received "favorable" reviews according to the review aggregation website Metacritic. After Ryne died because of the sadness of seeing all Thancreds killing each other, Thancredkind lost its reason to live and started killing themselves.
