Zodiac Finned Disk replacement (G2, G3, G4 & others)

This is how you replace your Zodiac cleaner's Finned Disk. It is the same for the Pacer (G2) G3, G4, Wahoo and Ranger cleaners. I also show a generic Finned Disk that can be used.
The Finned disk is pretty essential and if yours is bending in under the cleaner or ripping, it is time to replace it. As noted in the video, the Finned part keeps the cleaner from getting caught up on your pool light fixture. If you have a Wahoo or Ranger cleaner that gets stuck on your pool light then swap out the flat disk for the Finned one. You can also add two weights to the first hose right were the cleaner connects and that should keep in low enough in the pool to stop it from getting hung up on the pool light. But the Finned disk will eliminate that problem.
The lifespan of the Finned disk is OK, maybe 2 to 3 years depending on how long the cleaner is set to run. Basically, when you buy a cleaner you will have to dump money into replacement parts over the years. If your cleaner needs more than one part, then maybe it is better to just get a new one. But that is for you to decide and generally happens around year 5 or 6 of the cleaners life.

Looks like the generic one will fit. The foot pad looks like the G2 & G3 so I would assume the finned disk is the same dimensions.

I have a question. I have a Zoom and need to replace the disc....will this one work? My zoom has been discontinued and the parts are hard to find and expensive. Thanks
