Roberto Carlos teaches us a masterclass on how to defend against a tricky winger. Carlos was known for his attacking ability, but here he demonstrates that he was capable of nullifying his opponent on the other end too.

not surprising that he was able to defend against tricky wingers. Short, powerful legs that let him keep up with a opponents steps, not afraid of contact since he was strong for a fullback and he had a great engine to match. Not sure how good he was positionally but it makes sense why he's good against tricky wingers
