Join Iain as, after a stint in the workshop under the team’s care, he takes to the road in this sensational, 23rd built, Miura. Combining the earlier “lightweight” chassis (just over a ton) with a seriously talented production engine of its era makes for an epic drive. ‘Nuff Said!

When Ian is taking a Lamborghini out for a run and calls it special, you can’t get here fast enough to watch and listen. Best shop content on YouTube. Love the channel Ian. Thanks for sharing this absolute beauty.

I'm almost embarrassed. How is it possible to get emotional over the look and sound of an amalgamation of metal.
Absolute music. I know you can sing, Iain, but your failed attempt (included) tipped me over into a spluttering mixture of emotion and laughter. Thank you so much for this wonderful channel; alone worth the Youtube subscription.

Ian, my Dad passed away last year. When I was growing up (I'm 49 now), my dad encouraged me to draw. If there was a rainy Saturday, and there was and is always a rainy Saturday in Ireland... he'd suggest, when I was 7 to 10... How about you try to draw this car? And the Miura was both the most difficult to draw, and just the most beautiful thing to try and draw. I tried to Google it just now, to find out which car/ photo from Car Magasine I was trying to copy, and can't right now. It's out there somewhere. It was a light blue coloured beast in a fog. Car often had some of the best photography. Before he passed, he bought me one of your baseball caps. I'm not into baseball caps. But I put it on occasionally in his honour. And in yours. Cheers Ian. Take care.

Those engine shot's and sound, blipping on the downshifts were wonderful. We are lucky to have these video's from you. Fantastic machines.

I live in the same region and 55 miles away from the Lamborghini factory, and I am aged enough (born 1964) to rimember from my childhood the brand new Miuras roar on the main street, revving up in first to a mervellous scream. Everyone knew about Miura, it was a kind of dream shared in some manner by all people.

Thankyou Iain- beam us back to the 60s, the style, analogue supercars, analogue music. Optimism. How many of today’s electronic ’wonders’ will be restored in 60 years and be seen as this special?

How fantastic was that ?! Another great episode, Iain. What a beautiful colour...would love to see it in the flesh. I loved you bursting into song like that, it really put a smile on my face! As a creative person myself (with a passion for Italian sports cars), I felt your emotions and the 'need' to burst into song! The camera work, filming the linkage whilst hearing the throttle was eargasmic! It simply doesn't get any better than that. The sound from that engine is a high octane symphony, with adrenaline on full tilt! I also appreciate you including photographs of the chassis, so we, the viewers, can get a better understanding of the technology behind Lamborghini. A visceral experience indeed! Thank you!

You can post Miuras in all future episodes, and it’s still worth watching. Look at that beauty!

Ian what a vlog, u can tell your doing nearly 70 in second, up into third with that much welly you are talking very naughty road speeds, very clever on modulating road speed/ vfm on engine sound
One of the best sounding videos I have ever seen on you tube
Bravo
Ps, I understand your operatic tendency

So much to absorb here. The beautiful colour for a start, Looks so much nicer than the Ferrari rosso next to it, which now looks like a more ordinary red. Seeing Iain tune the ‘wind instrument’ to perfection, is so hypnotic watch. The test drive and the sheer joy of it, was wonderful to see-definitely watching it again, and the camera in the engine bay was lovely touch too! Listening with headphones on is a must for this ep.

The Lamborghini Miura is my all-time favorite car. If you needed me to do an extended test drive say about 25 years I would be willing to do that free of charge. ❤
