She is Slovenian, she knows what it means to live in a country where democracy does not exist. Today Slovenia is a democratic country and it is part of the European Union but when she was born Slovenia was not an independent state, it was a dictatorial state. I am Italian and what I saw on January 6th reminded me of the darkest moments in the history of Italy, because of this story (fascism) we had the civil war in the middle of the Second World War.
