It’s bothering that she bought a whole new wardrobe instead of just using the clothing she already has at home. It’s really giving into the consumerism mindset where she needs to buy everything new for a trip that’s only two weeks. Plus she’s buying clothes that are for the wrong type of weather it’s still spring in Europe and Italy is definitely not in shorts and tank top weather until July or August.

I am glad you are able to take this trip. However, it's hard to call this a capsule wardrobe for 2 weeks of travel. You are packing way too many clothes for 2 countries in 2 weeks. You also will likely regret packing such a large suitcase. It will be a pain to drag around multiple cities. I have traveled for years for both work and pleasure. I have been to more than 30 countries. As well, I think you are packing the wrong types of clothes for the season in France and Italy. It may not even be warm enough for shorts, and I think you planned on packing several pairs. You shouldn't need more than 3 of any category if you choose items you can wear multiple times and mix and match. You definitely don't need 7 dresses, even if you eat out every night. You have a lot of tank tops. These can be used as layering pieces but it will likely be too cool to wear alone. You also didn't mention jackets. It can definitely rain this time of year. It will be cool in the mornings and evenings. You did mention your Veja's but I didn't recall other shoes. Hopefully, you are not bringing heels. The streets in some parts can be challenging. Comfort is key. I would recommend that you start with a limited color palette. Maybe 2 or 3 colors max. Your accessories can add interest (scarves, belts, purses, shoes). Have a great trip.

I have those vejas! I’d also had my eye on them for years because they’re more expensive than I’d normally spend on shoes but they’re SO comfy. I walked around NYC for a week in them and they were awesome

Have a wonderful time on your trip. You have some super cute outfits, but I promise you, you don’t need so much. I’ve always been one to overpack and have learned how to pare down over the years. Look into the 5-4-3-2-1 packing method. Don’t be afraid to rewear your clothes! Dealing with a big suitcase can be such a pain! I learned the hard way on a 3+ week trip to Australia. Never again! Safe travels to you! 😎

As someone who has been to these counties many times, its not warm/hot until Mid June :( especially england. Ive gone in (I think it was) July and it was still only 70 degrees and cloudy ://. I like Europe in late summer! (its a double edged sword though because a lot of places don't have AC)
