This really made me laugh. Also - that was an incredibly elegant coin flip, I'm impressed!

You had me going for a second. I thought you actually had a hat collection. The butterfly one is the most appropriate for summer, I think.

I think you've been holding out on us by concealing your extensive hat collection.

Heh, I don't know how you managed to do the bit about designer hats without laughing, but I salute you for it! 🎩

EXCITING, I will also be joining booktubeathon this year for the first time! It seems like such a wonderful, community oriented thing. And like you say about the hat thing - people can choose to do whatever challenges they want to, and don’t have to do any they don’t want to, and that’s it! I’m excited for it. And to hear your thoughts on Circe if you get around to it. Good luck to us!😊

Oh, I heard about Circe in a podcast last week! It sounds really interesting. Apparently there’s a couple other books revisiting classics going around. Nice TBR, good luck! I hope I can get through mine as well.

Circe, yes! So good. I was holding my breath for it when you flipped that coin. Currently reading The Waves, slowly....but, WOW.

Always suspected you were a millinerial. 🤪🤪 I too am doubling up with Adam’s Book2Film club, with LOTF. Mad Boy sounds intriguing! For my beautiful spine choice I’m doing Irani’s The Parcel thanks to you - my hardcover edition has, indeed, a gorgeous spine. Happy reading!

I love the way you sneaked in some potential Booker longlist books Eric 😉 and like your take on ‘hatgate’! Too many other reading plans to take part in this but looking forward to good vlogging!

The Circe book reminds me of Norse Mythology by Neil Gaiman. Your TBR books are interesting! Especially the short stories collection with Carmilla and How to Love a Jamaican. Happy reading mate!
