The Supras definitely not in sports mode. I’ve heard quite a few in person and they sounded MUCH better than the “sports mode” you guys had it in.

I drove a 2021 supra and it had pops and crackles with every light rev. I wonder if the new models changed the exhaust

N55 with the M-performance exhaust is the sweet spot for sure. B58 is a better engine overall for performance but just doesn't have the same rawness in sound, and even the S55 as brilliant as it is... the price of the mods to make it sound nearly as good as the N55, is not worth the effort

I’d say the BMW, but still not a fan of the backfiring. Did it backfire like that when it was new? Other than that, the rev-up tones of the BMW is far superior. Nice and crisp.
