I've always said a sneakerhead is someone who has love and is passionate for sneakers. When I was young, I was poor as hell, but I STILL loved sneakers and everything about them, of lots of brands and or silhouette.

A true “sneakerhead” to me is someone who appreciates, loves, and partakes in multiple groups of sneakers (basketball, mesh runners, high tech performance shoes, etc). Someone who TRIES to learn about new shoes and what they’re about. Learn about the new, learn about the general history of past models, etc.

I haven't bought new pair of Jordans since 2021. Sneakerheads of the 90s are different to the 2010s or today. I just laugh when people still get in their feelings when someone doesn't like what they like. Thats like someone saying you have to listen to this kind of music to be cool.

I was actually alive during Jordan’s first three-peat. So glad my dad got me into basketball as a kid. I remember tripping and falling over when I wore my dad’s j1 breds.

This wasn’t just my first pair of 3s this was my first pair of Jordan’s. It was these or the pure moneys. I had to pick between them. My friend liked the pure moneys but I liked the black cats so I got them and I just remembered everyone complimented me and thought they were nice. I also played in them for years.
