From one wheel to EUC, Jimmy's on point.

When you take a fall on an euc first hand, saying you understand all the gear is an understatement. Gear is no longer a question or choice, it’s a requirement. Be safe guys! 🤙🏽

Word Jimmy! We are in an age group that no longer feels invincible. Or have recovered from injuries that put us out for more than a few months.

I was fully geared up, but still suffered a fractured elbow and torn tendon after a 20 MPH faceplant on dirt when the controller board in my Sherman melted down with no warning. I’m on month 2 of recovery and may never be able to fully extend my arm again. I was fully geared up with moto jacket with level 2 pads, moto helmet, knee pads and wrist guards. So gear, while it certainly helps, is not going to completely save you, even in a relatively minor crash.

This is true. I use to ride motorcycles without helmets. In no longer ride then but ride PEV and use helmets and protective gear. Once you get older, you value safety/recovery a lot more.

You never think you don't need protective gear until you are going thru rehabilitation for that fall!

Lol, that's me in the full leathers. I bought that suit for moped racing. I've gone down many times, and popped back up with zero injury. One piece leathers are so worth it!

maybe because eucs go faster than 18 mph

Also gear is not uncomfortable to gear up on an euc like everything else. Dirt bike, mtb, even the one wheel gear gets in the way and is uncomfortable. Standing strait up is the default position of all clothing!

I ain't no squid 🐙 I'm not riding anywhere without a helmet. I respect my Pearly whites.

Ooh, ooh, i know this one, is it because EUCs are NOT toys like those over-priced OneWheels?

Is is almost like he spends so mucb time i court preventing "right to repair", he has forgotten that any rider dislikes pain, road rash, broken bones, etc.

I dress for the slide because I love my skin and bones. 🤓🥳

My first road rash on my 50mph ebike was actually going slow around a corner. Since then, I added the same gear with knees and elbows protected. I'll be getting an upper armor soon; basically motocross setup.

We take gear serious because most of us push the limits of what we can do and as a result most of take falls. Gear helps us get back to what we love.

Perfectly said Jimmy prepare for the slide not the ride

Euc is a one wheel motorcycle. Some of them can go up to 60mph. If you going 40-60 mph and crash into something (tree, a park or a moving vehicles)-the helmet and all the protection won’t help. The helmet may only keep your face recognizable at the morgue.

I 100% would wear all this gear. I went off a mountain bike at 18 mph on flat ground and rode the asphalt with my face. I wish I had gear on I can't imagine how bad you'd get hurt going 10mph more on one of these

I was partially geared. Lazyrolling jacket and poc helmet when i went down at 30 mph....wish i had my knee guards and gloves on.

TBH I'm young and now recovering from a broken arm from a onewheel fall. Would definitely rather be geared up and walk away unharmed than be rushed via ambulance to the nearest trauma center.
