I played this every night at the wharf on my sailboat on my guitar and sang it. I saw grown men crying. My favorite from you guys.

Just finished the new doc 'No Dress Rehearsal'. Man oh man. Having grown up in the 80s/90s/early 2000s, The Hip represents the sound of my generation. They quite literally provided the soundtrack for my life and I know I am not alone in that. Like most 'good times', you don't recognize them until they've come and gone. Watching the documentary, I was transported back in time to relive a lot of experiences from the last 3-decades. Every song/video clip put me in a different head space. Good memories, awkward memories, head-shaking memories; I felt them all. The emotions got the best of me when Gord's sister brought out the letter he wrote to her about having written Fiddler's Green. I knew the story behind the song, but to hear her and the band tell the story was something else. The flood gates remained open after that. Well done, lads. Well done. From the bottom of my heart....thank you.

The Only question I asked Bobby when I was with him was " how do you tune to play Fiddlers green ". He told me but had just played a show so I didn't get the full lesson til now. Thanks and as always, God bless the Tragically Hip.

Easily one of the most meaningful songs ever written. Thanks for this Rob, The Hip are the reason I first picked up a guitar. RIP Gord

There was not a dry eye in the KRock center August 20 for this song. We sang this to Gord and you boys that night.

Played this one at my brother's funeral. One of the most beautiful and emotional songs ever written. Truly close to my heart.
