I had a Japanese friend in high school and she also hated anime and manga in general. But every anime and manga lovers wanted to talk about it with her, assuming she loved it. She was so mad about it.

Meanwhile I'm the stereotypical Asian, likes korean food especially kimchi, watches anime religiously, goes to karaoke every few weeks and is a sonography student who has studied abroad on a scholarship (I'm from Australia). 😅

I always find stuff like this so funny. There are so many countries in Asia, and so so many people that live in those countries and all over the world too. How can people think those stereotypes are even realistic when there are this many people.
