Why do we have hands?

to pat the Trimming
Hold the trimming
Cherish the trimming
Forfeit all mortal possessions to the trimming

I like how trimmings are wholesome in their own cursed way while everything else in this universe is absolutely terrifying.

I work in a vet clinic and one thing not mentioned in this video is that you should NEVER use harsh soaps on a trimming. I've seen way too many of these guys come in crying in pain because of the bad condition their skin is in due to the strong antibacterial soaps people use.... if you've ever heard it you know it's a sound that will haunt you forever 😢 If in doubt, please find a veterinarian approved trimming soap! We are still learning about these guys and can not guarantee that any other soap won't be harmful.

The fact that they are super gentle and basically play by just pulling and pushing toys around is so genuinely adorable. And the way they love to cuddle and just *be* with their human. I actually want one so bad

I think its interesting that we got the scene with the trimming "enjoying" the "funny noises" from the radio, given the news clipping about over 400 trimmings gathering under a large, abandoned satellite dish. Maybe they're hearing something we can't.

The Trimming i had was attacked by a dog once and lost two of its six legs so i had to deal with people thinking i was rasing a mimic for a long while .
Sadly my poor lil Meatball passed away a few months ago
RIP Meatball

My sweet girl Onion is a delight to take care of! Highly recommend trimmings when looking for a companion, they don't shed, they're cuddly, and you find em in the funniest places! One time, Onion got stuck under the couch, and we had to facilitate a whole rescue mission for her.

I love my little Trimming. His name is Potato. One night he just not would stop barking (screaming? Yelling? Meowing? Or what ever that “Aaah” sound is). Turns out there was a freaking Mimic in my backyard! I think Potato might have saved my life that night as I called the police. It’s sad how some people see Trimmings as pests, but if you get to know one they might surprise you.

"One day, the prince awoke suddenly. Thanks to the Critters assistance, the healing process had finished very quickly. The Prince had fully recovered, and was now fully awake and aware of their surroundings. Surprised by the sudden awakening, the Critters ducked and hid from the princes sight."

The idea of horror creatures as pets has always been cool to me. You managed to balance wholesome and horrifying really well here, since I'm scared of them but still want to pet them. Its also a really well made puppet, kind of a cuteness uncanny valley.

I had a pet Trimming named Princess once. She must have been a really rare breed, she was pretty tall and had four limbs instead of six. After a couple of years, she sprinted off until the wild once around 2am, sprinting through the hallway and leaving the front door open. I'll miss Princess... Trimmings grow up so fast! 🥺

I love the (not-so) subtle insistence of how much trimmings want to "listen" to- and "watch" everything about us and our civilization ;)

I wonder if the pet trimmings cry louder to warn their owners, like to them of burglars or maybe even of mimics. I wonder if bigger trimmings even intentionally sit on their owners legs when the owner is infected with the host gas

This has to be one of the most wholesome analog horror videos I've seen. The shot of throwing the tennis ball for the motionless puppet to go chase was also pretty funny.

I have a theory—the consciousness of anyone killed by a Harvester, Mimic, or Host is absorbed by the Crawl and sometimes is regrown as a Trimming. This is why Trimmings lament and cry at night.

One of my 3 trimmings accidentally rolled down the stairs once. Due to their shape, it's not hard for things like this to happen. Keep a close eye on your trimming companions everyone! Install baby gates at the tops and bottoms of your stairwells if you have the time.

My grandma had a trimming when I was a kid. Bob was such a great pet. I remember staying at my grandma's house and laying on the rug in the living room with my sleeping bag, and Bob would sit on my pillow and watch movies with me. I know I wasn't supposed to, but occasionally I would feed him bits of pop tart in the morning when we watched cartoons together.

Miss my little Trimbles so much, he was my best buddy for 10 years. He was very sick toward the end, his shrieks uncharacteristically quiet, and began losing his sense of direction.

On his last day, I found him in the meat drawer of the fridge, poor baby must have crawled in while I was getting a midnight snack. He was sluggish, but still as cuddly as ever, and he fell asleep in my lap and never woke up again. I hope his suffering was minimal. I’ll never forget the way he’d nod his little head when I told him about work and family drama. He took an especially keen interest in politics and seemed to nod even more intently whenever we watched news about the government together.

Miss you every day, baby boy, rest well.

I love all the people making comments and stories as if these things were real, the amount of creativity going into them is amazing
