The cladding looks Great! That is my plan for Dobby! Finishing up the bed, very similar to yours, but I only have 53" ceiling height, and a porta potty had to fit under the bed... so for the extendable section instead of using a piece of wood under, I used a 1" x .25" x 72" long aluminum bar stock, laid it out where I wanted it to be made a few marks and screwed it in. The bed slides in and out really smoothly. Hopefully if we have no rain I can stain and poly it. The base of the bed is red oak, 1.5"x 1.5" stock legs and the side rails 1.5"x1" looked flimsy till I screwed and glued the 1x4 Pine slats. I cheated and bought myself a new memory foam mattress and took my 9" thick memory foam mattress and cut and fitted a cover for it. Squashes down nice when you sit on it (my head doesn't touch the ceiling) and it is so comfortable which works for my back. So are you on instagram or Facebook?

The 5 volt USB ports are a constant drain on your battery, even if they’re not being used. It is using current to convert the 12 volts down to 5 volts regardless if a device is plugged into it or not. A spring loaded door and microswitch over the USB port would only activate power when something is purposefully plugged into it, otherwise no energy would be wasted while unattended or unused.

I watched someone else fit a fan and it leaked because the release agent from the mould prevented the sealant forming a watertight seal, need to rub it with a slightly rough abrasive to clean it off, look up rickvanman channel and see him have the problem

Scratching my head not sure to go floor up or top to bottom as in my citroen relay I am sure the van is slightly smaller at the back, don't want wonky cladding, maybe I will go from the middle going by a spirit level what you reckon?
