I think I would like to add: making sure he is fed!
Prepping a good dinner, making extra for his lunch the next day, or prepping breakfast-grab and go items. It really blesses and also keeps their energy up! A hungry husband is a cranky husband.

And then another, is knowing his "peeves" if he has a thing about sticking to a budget, stick to it or make sure you respectfully mention when you want to go over budget. If he's got a peeve about bad body oder, put on the deodorant! If his peeve if you constantly complaining about his mother, pick your words better. He also needs to know your "peeves". It makes things much more peaceful to not be constantly irritating one another!

A tip I would lip to add to your giving your hubby the jar full of scriptures. We each know our own man and I know mine would not take out a paper each day to read the scripture. Now my husband does believe but he isn't actively pursing his faith. So lately I've felt the Lord prompt me to take pictures of certain scriptures (for what he's going through) and send them via text message. Simple enough right? Even if he doesn't respond to me I know the word of the Lord doesn't return back void and that way he's getting the word into him. And we can pray it over their lives too. Just an idea 😊
