McDonell Douglas A-4 Skyhawk In Action

The Douglas A-4 Skyhawk is a single-seat subsonic carrier-capable light attack aircraft designed and produced by the American aerospace manufacturer Douglas Aircraft Company, and later by McDonnell Douglas. It was originally designated A4D under the United States Navy's pre-1962 designation system.

I'm 52 years old born on March 19th 1973. I went to the RNZAF 50th anniversary airshow at Whenuapai Airbase in Auckland in 1986 when I was either 12 or 13 and saw these RNZAF A4K Skyhawks. There was also RAAF Mirage 3, F/A18 A Hornets, F111 as well as C130H Hercules which were just retired this year and UH1 Iroquois.
