GRAMMY Award-nominated extreme metal institution CRADLE OF FILTH recently announced their upcoming 14th studio album, The Screaming Of The Valkyries, out March 21, 2025 via Napalm Records. The band reigns supreme as one of the most revered, formative and notorious names in music – from the depths of the extreme metal underground to the peaks of mainstream pop culture itself, and are responsible for breaking ground for many of today’s top metal artists with their trademark mixture of blackened heaviness, macabre theatricality and scintillating gothic style.

The rule of Filth began in 1991, followed by the unleashing of 1994’s The Principle Of Evil Made Flesh – humble beginnings that expanded into cinematic classics like Cruelty And The Beast and Midian, among others. Now, following the release of 2021’s Existence Is Futile – which debuted at #20 on the Billboard 200 with Hard Rock Genre (beyond many other chart debuts) – the international institution returns with their arrestingly catchy 14th studio album, The Screaming of the Valkyries. Out in March 2025 via Napalm Records, the album is a succinct summation of the ghosts of Cradle’s past and a bold step into the future. Frontman Dani Filth’s recognizable scream and equally identifiable growl stand mightily alongside twin guitar attacks, symphonic flourishes, and explosive rhythm section, implemented by drummer Martin “Marthus” Skaroupka, bassist Daniel Firth, guitarists Marek “Ashok” Smerda and Donny Burbage, and keyboardist/vocalist Zoe Federoff.

Thank you, that was a cool interview, as an old COF myself, it's amazing to finally feel the recognition of hard work of Dani Filth.

For someone that’s sort of a recent edition to the band, she fits perfectly. Style and soundwise.

Great interview as always, my dude! Keep up the great work! Also, I didnt think that anyone besides Dani ever gave interviews regarding this band (at least I have never seen anyone else besides Dani give interviews.) Also, I agree with Zoe, mainstream Jesus is a c*** ( I want that on a shirt)

What "Republican Jesus" is ok with guns shooting up schools?

Just asking as a Belgian expat living in America, now Catholic and Republican, who's loved CoF since I saw them performing "the principle of evil" live, as a support band, back in the old days, in some dive bar in Belgium, when they just started out, and they still had a keyboardist wearing a top hat.

A Slayer show is indeed NOT the best place for a female (esp.in the pit)🙄🙄
If everything goes as planned, I'm going to a show in Germany on friday night, never seen this band live, hope that the crowd won't be too...drunk, to say the least !
