Looking great! I'm in the process of rebasing an old Dwarf army to 25s and I love it. They look so much better than 20s. Even before Old World I always disliked the 20s and felt that they were way too cramped.

Love these! How did you paint the bases of you don’t mind me asking? Is that static grass + flowers for the greenery?

They do look very nice. Bigger bases have always been a fav of my 30/40K armies, not surprised it makes WHFB look nicer too. Your models get more focus with more base around it.

They do look good, I have a High Elf army and they always just squeezed on 20mm bases, with scale creep those tight bases got so tight. I'm looking forward to seeing what the new WHTOW game is like and more importantly, being able to buy miniatures again without the scalpers ebay prices, I need some Sea Guard and White Lions.

I don't know what to think of this yet. They look a bit too spaced out for my liking. I would've preferred they kept the old bases

I want more models on the table, not less, pal.

No matter how good the miniatures and paint are, angular bases ruin everything. A square gives visual angles to the stand, and any angle, due to the peculiarities of our visual perception, attracts undue attention. And it turns out that something that should dissolve, be the basis of the base, a stand for the model, something that destroys the naturalness of the miniature, and should be as neutral and hidden as possible come to the foreground.
Therefore, miniatures on squares look more “toy-like” than on circles. Less "natural".

I disagree 100%. Those elf units look really weird with gaps in between the models. The goblin looks ridiculous on a 25mm base. I absolutely don't want armies with "half the number of models". That would feel like a skirmish warband, not an army.

Yeah that looks pretty good!

I am not rebasing though.. Just painted up quitea few O&Gs and I am not rebasing.. Atleast not now. Spacer trays i guess.

but sure, it looks good.
