Can a Deer Smell You at 350 Yards??? Yep they sure can!

No wonder coues deer are so hard to hunt. This buck was hidden extremely well making it very tough to find but with a whole lot of luck we were able to glass him up at 350 yards across the canyon. Our frivolous victory was short lived though because minutes after finding the buck he winded us. Even though it suck at the time I thought it was pretty cool that i captured on video the exact moment he caught our scent. Good news was we were able to relocate the buck soon after and fortunately for us he wasn't able to elude us a second time.
