In Severance, Mark Scout (Adam Scott) leads a team at Lumon Industries, whose employees have undergone a severance procedure, which surgically divides their memories between their work and personal lives. This daring experiment in “work-life balance” is called into question as Mark finds himself at the center of an unraveling mystery that will force him to confront the true nature of his work… and of himself.

In season two, Mark and his friends learn the dire consequences of trifling with the severance barrier, leading them further down a path of woe.

Season 2 reunites its ensemble cast of stars including Emmy Award nominee Adam Scott, Britt Lower, Tramell Tillman, Zach Cherry, Jen Tullock, Michael Chernus, Dichen Lachman, Emmy Award winner John Turturro, Academy Award winner Christopher Walken and Academy and Emmy Award winner Patricia Arquette, and welcomes new series regular Sarah Bock.

Severance is executive produced by Ben Stiller, who also directs five episodes this season in addition to directors Uta Briesewitz, Sam Donovan and Jessica Lee Gagné. The series is written, created and executive produced by Dan Erickson. Severance season two is also executive produced by John Lesher, Jackie Cohn, Mark Friedman, Beau Willimon, Jordan Tappis, Sam Donovan, Caroline Baron, Richard Schwartz, Nicholas Weinstock. In addition to starring, Adam Scott and Patricia Arquette serve as executive producers. Fifth Season is the studio.

Last Saturday at 2:30am, I started the Apple TV+ 7 days trial just so I can watch this show. Now it’s the next Saturday and it’s 2:29am and I just finished the show. It’s almost like I finished the last folder on the last minute of the deadline day to reach quota.

This show has made me feel things that I only might have felt when I was around 6 years old and watching some oddly feeling shows that had sterile places and all that.

And I’m also a big fan of liminal spaces and GOSH I’D SOLELY WATCH IT FOR THAT, but the story itself is just a mind bending masterpiece 😭 I’m just overwhelmed by what a breathtaking experience this show was for me 😭🙏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

What a rollercoaster of emotions. I hope I get to live long enough to see the 3rd season. Never believed that someone could make a TV series on the level of DARK and most of all, based around consciousness. The fact that Ben did it is mind boggling. A dude who's been a comedy staple of many childhoods, including mine. It's something I never could've seen happening. This is the first show in my whole life that made me really understand what "mind-bending" feels like. This is gonna go down as one of the greatest TV series that ever aired. What an amazing and unique experience. Nothing like it. I HIGHLY recommend that people who might've ended up on this video by chance to give this series a shot. You will feel things you never thought you could feel. Whoever got an idea for this is short of a genius.
