Album description: As a sequel to the guitar extravaganza, "Let It Be Guitar! (Joel Paterson plays The Beatles)," Joel Paterson announces the release of a new fingerstyle solo guitar album: "Let It Be Acoustic Guitar! (Joel Paterson Plays The Beatles Again)." The album was recorded at Paterson’s home studio in the early days of the 2020 lockdown. It features new arrangements of 14 Beatles classics, played with Paterson’s signature touch and blend of modern and vintage stylings. One of the busiest musicians on the roots music scene, Joel Paterson can be heard playing with The Joel Paterson Trio, The Western Elstons, and other Chicago-based projects.

Joel, _Let It Be Acoustic Guitar!_ is, for me, one of those rare instances in which the sequel at least equals -- maybe even surpasses -- the first effort. I wasn't prepared for this, despite the fact that The Beatles were my first musical love and acoustic guitar has always been where my heart is as a player. The timing of this album was perfect, too, and I think your arrangements capture the mood and feeling that many of us experienced during a tough time. Your take on "Across The Universe" has that same cosmic quality of the great John Lennon's original vision.
