Refugees in Idomeni scared by Greek military exercise

Jet fighters and combat helicopters flew over the #Idomeni #refugee camp at the border of Macedonia and Greece today. People were absolutely terrified. Little kids started to cry. Worried mothers immediately showed up to protect their children. Adults had mental breakdowns. The jet fighter's noise was terrible, they flew very low and maneuvered right over the camp. Soldiers were walking through surrounding fields. It felt like a war scene.

My dear, I have served my military service. Near Idomeni there are many camps and it is quite often to have military exercizes in this area. IN FACT THE GREEK ARMY HAS CANCELLED MANY EXERCISES/ TRAINING IN ORDER TO AVOID SCARING THE REFUGEES. I think that after coming from a warzone they can easy handle it. I am 100% pro for refugees welcome etc but if they wanted a safe place they could go to the proper refugee camps, they are open and wait for them.
