Education, Certification, and Programming: Keys to Reentry

This video, the third in the series, focuses on the education, certifications and programming opportunities available to adults in Bureau custody. The incarcerated women talk about a variety of opportunities, from obtaining a GED to earning certifications in new areas, that they were afforded during their incarceration. The women challenged themselves to attain personal and professional goals along with increased earning potential and job opportunities to improve the likelihood for a successful release.

"First Step Act: Pathway to Success" is a four-part series featuring fourteen women in federal custody filmed during the Diversity Employment Job Fair in St. Louis, MS. Each video in the series highlights various experiences the women in federal prison had while preparing for release.
