Someone started this blog off by mentioning how old this song was, but I stopped by to tell you Saints. When it comes to talking about GOD and how He will shine in your life; time does not have any bearing. You see He is the Alpha and Omega; the beginning and end!. From this day forward, lets continue to let the SON shine every morning; if you hold out!

This song makes me think about how I almost gave up on life. After being beaten to the point of being unrecognizable, strangled, and sexually assaulted by the hands of my ex of 20 years, I wanted to let go. The devil almost had me. I was severely depressed, suffered from PTSD, and still wasn't able to walk on my own. I lost my faith and I felt that it would have been easier to let the devil take me because I couldn't take the pain, but somehow I'm still here and I know it's because GOD kept me. After he disappeared for 22 months, he was finally caught. I do believe that God waited until he knew I was just a little bit stronger to deal with it. I'm back in church and I cry every Sunday. I know that's a sign of healing because I use to be in church and felt numb. I now feel every tear I cry. There's a greater purpose for my life and I'm going to let him use me for his work. I'm not going to act like it doesn't hurt and that my heart isn't heavy, because it is. I know that through it all, the SON is going to shine if I hold out.

TESTIMONY: On the night of March 2nd 2015 my sister was telling me her challenges as I listened I asked God to help her, she not knowing I am struggling too but it wasn't about me in that conversation. My sister talked about depression and when her turn was coming GLORY! Myself being rooted in the faith am at a point in my walk facing situations I just don't understand GLORY!  March 3rd 2015 on my way to work song comes on I think of my sister I send her this song "HOLD OUT" when I get to work in my email inbox my girlfriend send me the song "HOLD OUT" told me to listen. June 2022 God is speaking LOUD through the Shining of His SON! My eldest daughter went home to be with the Lord in 2020 and there have been so many nights I have cried and I am still crying. I take these days moment by moment and live in Christ knowing the Son is going to shine if I hold out! Glory to His Name, Jesus!!!
