Ferdinando Carulli (1770-1841) was an Italian guitarist and composer with a very large composition output. His most celebrated work is his Complete Guitar Method (Opus 27) which was published in 1810. As a teenager teaching myself how to play the instrument, I used Carulli's Complete Method on a regular basis.

His Opus 264 is a collection of fifteen easy and progressive pieces. The piece in this video features some melodic movement with repeating notes on the lower strings in the first section and arpeggios in the second section.

Here are some Carulli collections for anyone who might be interested.
