Pro-Palestinian Protests Sweep Columbia University

Tensions are rising at several US colleges, as groups of students hold pro-Palestinian demonstrations and occupy parts of campus. At Columbia University in New York, protesters have put up tents in a "Gaza solidarity encampment" and are calling for the school to exit all investments that benefit Israel’s government. But their critics allege that their actions have included antisemitic speech as well as harassment and intimidation that make Jewish students feel unsafe.
