Every once in a while, a skater comes through our doors who is just really, really, really good. After watching Ivan Monteiro do his thing, we had to ask, "Where the hell did this guy come from?" The style, the tricks, the pop, the flick, this kids got it all. Hes goes technical and it looks like he only warming up. Just look at that nollie front crook. Thrasher called Yuto "Nyjahs nightmare" but Nyjah has got more to worry about.

This dude has "it". He looks like he belongs on a skateboard. His trick selection was on point and his style is smooth and clean. I can't wait to see what he does in the next 3-5 years.

I think the answer you're looking for is: Brazil. Rugged streets, energetic motivated skaters. Also the land of that little event called "slides and grinds", that hopefully is bringing some attention to top level athletes on the country that are not Luan, Tiago Lemos or Rodrigo TX (all of them rip btw, but they are far from being the only great street skaters in this country).

I don't know if hypnotized or mesmerizing is the best word selection. Such a pure skater, a real skater. Just, skating ...doing it cause he wants to not cause his buddy is following him with a go pro for a sponsor video. Very rare genuine skate footage right there guys. I bet some sponsors see pound or dollar signs ...leave him be.. let him skate and enjoy it!
