I bought 1200 acres of Australian bush in 1977. Took the cattle off, changed the burning regime and let it be... the trees grew, the wildlife thrived and rewilding happened. Now i watch your videos and applaud your efforts in Europe. Keep up the good work.

As for me, it is one of the best (or, perhaps, the best) video of the channel. Passive rewilding might be a usual way for this process but there is a problem: invasive species. For example, passive rewilding of croplands into grasslands is almost impossible in my country (Ukraine) because alien tree species occupy any area in the steppe (grassland) regions if they are not controlled.
