These AI were programmed and trained to respond to conversation. Jokes are a natural part of conversation, and those were jokes, hence the laughing from the humans in the clip. Nothing chilling about this.

Edit: Also, the robot named Philip K. Dick was modeled after the actual Philip K. Dick, who wrote famous Sci-Fi films like Blade Runner and Total Recall. He was not named after the male genitalia like everyone in the comments is insinuating.

I think I know why ai is saying stuff like this, it’s because people post about it a lot online so the ai thinks ai taking over the world is the most likely thing to happen so it plays into it, it’s not that they are going to take over the world or have sentient.
