I have had the “no control over player while on court” issue as well. I thought I was delusional at first cause it’s not often but when it happens, to me it’s extremely blatant and obvious.

That bump animation when you go to pass is absolute BS. It always costs you a clean shot. It’s intentional to keep the game close.
What about 3 of your guys under the basket for a rebound but it bounces right to the other team’s one guy? Or being bumped out of a dunk animation? Or being knocked to the ground without a foul?

i remember when i use to play madden in like 2010 and it actually took skill, you could click on your guy and do rocket catches then madden made it so the wr does all the work, thats basically what 2k has become, they try to take all the skill out of the game so any1 can play . and then they took it to the next level and added randomness so even if you're better than the person your playing they still can come back lol adding random stuff is the easiest way to remove the skill gap

These games controlled ! Doesn’t matter what they do . 1 day my shot feel like it’s on push . Then release, when I have it on push . It’s to throw you off because muscle memory is connected to anticipation . If I anticipate my release by looking for my que and you switch my release, it’s impossible to keep timing it .

Most of my turnovers come from bump animations. I've already hit the pass button, then I get bumped and the pass is late. Steals are ridiculous rn. At least in the rec.

Sometimes when I do a hop step cancel the game thinks I’m still shooting and my guy shoots the ball when I let go of the right stick way before. Happens once in a while but it’s annoying when it does

9:07 this is so annoying, it’s almost like you can’t goof around anymore without worrying about the team coming back from a 20 point deficit. Today we were playing a squad and they were getting every steal in the second half, after we won the first half. The center made a 15% (!!!!) Free throw, while I missed a 98% yesterday!!! Like make it make sense. I had to clip it smh.

And I agree, I wish we could go back to green or miss.

My 2k26 deal breaker is if they don’t brink back “green” layup meters. I hate these guessing layups I wanna see my meter. If they don’t have it, I will not be getting 26, my first time ever saying that. That would be the first 2k I miss too 😅

One animation I hate is if we’re on a fast break and I’m tapping the pass or spamming to lob it and close to sideline, it’s a guaranteed TO 🤦‍♂️

What’s up bro. I watched a video where you were talking about rng in shooting and asked if you had a game where you shot near perfect to reach out to you. Had a rec game today 50points 18/18 14/14 from 3. All my shots were jump shots. No dunks or layups.
