To be fair I know a few former pros and usually those don’t pay on most courses they play. Its like a gentlemen’s agreement where as in the tough beginning where no one has money they can go train and play.

It was a joy to see him drain that putt in the playoff on the 18th hole, to see how his emotions poured out, how badly he wanted to be a Masters champion, that was as pure as sports gets IMO.. it had nothing to do with the $$, fame, notoriety, etc., just winning the Green Jacket.. cheers to you Rory
