The random hard rock music is super fitting for this video. I can't stop listening. Corey Feldman approves!

Game Changer has a big opportunity with a camera to stream and not overheat with a good battery and mount as well as screen and 5g service. Pop it on the fence go through camera menus and start stream. Walk away with a option to look at stream from your phone if you want, or get notifications if your stream has ended on your phone. All this Tech is out it is crazy to me that with all the money and interest in youth sports that there is almost nothing available to cater to this. Anyways i just had to get this off my chest because of all the issues with parents and trying to watch my own kid during the game! Cheers

The whole purpose of me considering a Mevo is that it wouldn't tie up my phone to the live stream. I need to run GC and stream. After watching your video, it looks like Mevo will tie up my phone to where I can't run GC without a 2nd phone. I'm not willing to buy another phone.

Do you know of another camera that will use my phone as a hot spot, but I'm still able to open GC and input plays on the field?

What I’m gathering from the second half of your video is I need a Nevo camera and two cell phones to be able to stream the game efficiently. Have you found a better alternative to having a wider camera angle from behind the fence? I noticed we really can’t see outside first and third base lines as we head out to the outfield so we might miss some of those outfielders fall ball catches. Any solution for that? Thank you for this video!

nice instructions. I’ve been using my phone camera to stream and connect an iPad via the phone’s hotspot to score GC. my verizon plan limits data if connected to a hotspot so I know I’m going to chew through it if the mevo is connected. does your cell plan limit the data for personal hotspots? I know it throttles the speed once I hit the limit and would assume that would affect the stream.

Is the mevo that much better than just using the iPhone camera? Was hoping if I used a mevo camera I could stream and run GC with my iPad but based on your video that won’t work.

Really appreciate the video. My big question is, wouldnt it be way easier using a older cell phone with service? I was all in untill mevo still needed a dedicated cell phone. I run game changer video from a old samsung phone but wanted to try something better. Cell phone service is always a issue at certain fields

I am new to Mevo and Gamechanger... Maybe you guys can help, I am connecting a mevo external camera to my spare phone via wifi, which has cellular plan, but while this connection between phone and camera is made it wont send the stream out to the rest of the audience on gamechanger (wifi symbol has an exclamation point present on phone notification ribbon). I have removed the mevo from the equation, just to get by, but the camera and mount on the spare phone is not great and doesnt capture the entire field most of the time.

Is there a phone setting I have incorrect to allow the stream to flow out to the rest of the audience on gamechanger? Essentially while the spare phone is connected to the camera, my phone doesnt have a cellular signal to serve the media to gamechanger since the wifi is being used.

Im sure this is user error, but any guidance is much appreciated

Can you just stream without being the GC scorekeeper? I refuse to run GC, I just want to collect videos of my kid. Also are the l8ve streams automatically saved on GC? Thank you

Given some time since this post, I stream and gave up all devices and just used my phone (a second/spare phone.) considering the mevo now because it seems to stream thru GC well. Any connection issues with the camera to the phone and or phone/hotspot, the way you use 2 devices. So I will stream with my iPhone and then run GC via my iPad. Other than WiFi and connectivity, no other major issues.

When Streaming through GameChanger will it still record the game onto the Sd card? Sorry new to this.

But you still cant record 4k internally correct? Thats why I still am stuck on the gopro, I would prefer to have the 4k video over the 1080 or 720 stream recording. I have contemplated giving the Mevo Core a try as it streams and records in 4k however my luck a foul ball hits it and shatters something.

Can the screen on the second phone be turned off or will that kill the stream?

I wonder if the the Mevo app running in the background is a mevo problem or a phone problem?

So you can stream with the mevo off of cell signal? No WiFi needed?

I don’t bother with external cameras I have the first GEN streaming me, though it looks like a cylinder. I find that it overheats all the time and shuts off the power. So what I do is I just use a second iPhone with an unlimited data plan to stream to the cell data and then on my main phone I scored the game. No Wi-Fi no hotspot none of that crap is needed. Just stream game from phone mounted on fence and score game from phone in your hand.

Curious if you have zoom capabilities on video play back.

Will it stream if i use a dedicated spare phone with service but no hot spot?

I too have found some of the issues with Gopro and gamechanger keeping a consistent stream. Sometimes choppy, sometimes is stops and ive got to restart the stream. I have a mobile hotspot onsite and just connect my 3 devices to my hotspot. Ipad, iphone, go pro. Iphone for the stream and Ipad to score the GC game. What im getting at is the mevo the same setup and worth the buy? Looks like the same process but reason I am looking at the mevo is the stream/quality and a better zoom than Gopro 10. oh and not shutting off. Battery life for mevo? Can we zoom in the mevo? Sorry for the long winded questions. Great video BTW, I like the tutorial with the iphone on the screen.
