I just did a 3/4 drop to my Tahoe. I thought removing the rubber from the rear stops would be enough but it's not. I had to cut out the bump stop mounts. A few other things should be taken into consideration. The rear axle shifts to the right (passenger side) as the vehicle is lowered. It also moves slightly forward which brings the wheels forward in the wheel well. If you're a stickler for stuff like this you may want to get an adjustable panhard bar and adjustable rear control arms. Then you can center your rear axle properly.
