St. Rita of Cascia | Following the Saints | Br. Morgan Joseph Dunn
Rita of Cascia, born Margherita Lotti (1381 – 22 May 1457) revered as a patroness of seemingly impossible cases. She patiently bore the harsh treatment of her husband. After his death and that of her two sons, she entered the Augustinian convent at Cascia where she was an exemplary religious. She was favoured with mystical visions and bore permanent wound on her forehead associated with the crown of thorns.

I am 96years old and St, , Rita is one of my favoret saints.I am not a religios fanatic but i have had prayers answerd many times.While watching this video my room filled with a beautiful scent.Pray for her.

I went to St Rita’s Grammar School from Kindergarten to 5th Grade until we moved to another Catholic School. But little did I know that St Rita is one of my Patrons and I love her! She is helping me with my marriage and 2 sons aka “my 3 men” as she also had “3 men” to pray for in her family. Her metal appeared in my purse about a year after I “met” her and I do not remember putting it there or ever having it. I got to know her and talk to her daily, and recently while hearing about St Jude I went into my purse knowing that I had a prayer card for him but when I pulled it out, her metal came out with it. This was her way of reminding me that she is the Saint of the impossible like St Jude somI should pray to both of them a but harder. So I said a special prayer to each of them for my sons. And will continue. I KNOW their miracle of full conversion will come along with my husband all in God’s good timing even if after my death. My dear friend St Rita pray for us!

I am proud to say my son was ordained a catolic priest on May 21 2023 for the archdiosces of Phila Pa St Rita and St Anthony of padua are bot his favorite My parents were married on her feast day may 22 1948 and we live in south phila (little italy) her shrine is located here staffed by the augustinians her original habit is enclosed there and on display and i must say the church is absolutely beautiful built in 1909 and on her feast there is an out pouring of faithful who worship her that day St Rita pray for us!!!
