This is my great grandfather. He died poor in Beaumont Tx. Love his music. All of the blue acts of and after his time. Stole his style. He doesn't get the credit he deserved. We will always keep your legacy alive.

Imagine being black blind man in first half of 20s century and still have the will to make great music.

If ever a man had the right to sing the blues, it was Blind Willie Johnson.

This man died poor, blind, and sleeping in the remains of his burnt down house, yet he's one of the most influential musicians there was.
I hope using his song on TWD will bring him the recognition he deserves.

this man lived such a terrible life. he died of malarial fever in his burnt down house, not a penny to his name. but now, one of his songs is somewhere in the great vastness of the universe, waiting to be played by another life form. such tragic irony.

Blind Willie Johnson invented modern slide guitar playing.

Everyone stole everything he ever did. Too few ever gave him the credit.

This is better music than 100% of all the crap on the radio now. He should be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

That moment when you're being chased around by like, five death claws and this banger comes on over your pipboy's radio.

I'm really impressed how these American blues sings were able to cover Led Zeppelin songs... decades before Jimmy Page wrote them!

The transition from that raw growl to the clean vibrato is one the greatest things I’ve ever heard. Discovered this guy some 10 yrs ago, still as powerful as the first time.

I was just watching Sirius XM which I get on cable TV and they were playing nobody's fault but mine by led Zeppelin. At the end of the song the guy started talking about blind Willie and I've been into music since I was five and I've never heard of this guy. I'm now 66. So here I am for the first time listening to Willie and he is absolutely awesome.

This mans voice has reached farther than any other man. Farther than any other thought, or any other land. It's impossible that he saw himself 11 billion miles away, but his voice is. Not Michael Jackson, not the Beatles, not the Doors, not Freddy Mercury...only, the one and only Willie Johnson. Gods speed.

I first heard this song on an episode of The Walking Dead and did a research on it. That is how I got here. Grateful to the people that have put some amazing songs on that show. R.I.P. Blind Willie Johnson and thank you for your heartfelt music. <3
