The FDA is proposing many popular over-the-counter cold and allergy medications be removed from store shelves. I have always felt like a lot of over the counter cold medicine just makes you go to sleep and you feel better because you slept alot

I don't think they are being completely honest

Because they took away the thing that really does remove nasal congestion, pseudoephedrine.

We’re all punished because junkies thieves can’t act right.

I always knew Phenylephrine doesn't work because I bought a box of Sudafed to help with my nasal congestion and it did absolutely nothing. However, the Sudafed I bought behind the counter worked. I learned then to read the labels.

How about in addition, the FDA removes all the nasty dyes and seed oils.

Hi. Pharmacy technician, here. Just a warning for those of you who want to buy behind the counter pseudoephedrine. You do need a form of ID to purchase (we usually scan the back of a drivers license) because the amount you can purchase is limited per month (or something along those lines) and the pharmacists (at least the ones I work with) do NOT recommend it for people with high blood pressure.

What really doesn't work is the FDA😢

So that leaves only heavy alcohol consumption for relief.

It would be nice if one person was talking and everyone else listened. Like adults.

This sounds like they don't want people treating themselves from getting sick.

Nyquil and dayquil always worked for me. The nasal sprays NEVER worked.

All phenylephrine did for me was make me angry. It also forced me to pay $20 for a box of Advil cold and sinus with ephedrine in it. You know the stuff that was $3 a box before the gov. got involved
