I've heard about EF performing issues, it is great to see new improvements because the tool it self is awesome. Waiting for the next show, great video.

I know it might not be fair compersion, since this is especially about EF, but still would love to see results compared to Dapper, I use EF Core 3.1, but I get more and more pressure to look into Dapper, so I love to see how EF Core does vs Dapper. Even though Dapper is not a full-blown ORM.

It would've come in handy if you guys had multiple branches so that one could checkout branch EfCoreEp1, EpCoreEp2, etc for example. Apart from that great series.

Great Video. Thank you for posting. I have a quick question.
Our architect, in my our company, does not want us to use stored procedures going forward. He wants us to linq queries. I am concerned about that. I have tried to write best linq queries, the sql it generates is not the best. But feel, I can write better sql queries than linq with stored procedures. And I prefer to use linq for simple queries but for complex queries I like to use stored procedures. Is that a good practice? Please advise.

EF Core is thread safe?
In Web application like eCommerce, Should I create new DBContext for every request or use single instance through out the application?

Is it recommended to use EF core for applications that handle large ammount of data? In my area, we generate around 2-3million rows of data daily that needs to be fed into a db and then used for analytic purposes.
