I would love to see you reviewing more French books or following French book prizes! 😍 I love French literature and very often the books are translated into German quite quickly (often a lot quicker than into English 😜) and a ton of them are available here.

Hi Sophie, I found your channel this weekend and have already sped through so much of your output. I am very happy I found you and that you decided to put yourself out there. It's rare to find people who share my literary tastes so closely, either online or in real life. Especially the liking of art combined with literature. I would love to learn about your favorite artist books / writings by artists. It's a 'genre' of books that is so little tapped into and as someone who finds these incredibly inspiring, I am always looking for more. clarice lispector is one of my all time favorite authors! i'd definitely recommend agua viva which is very short, as well as the passion according to G.H. which is sort of absurdist and just overall brilliant. i've also been slowly making my way through "too much of life" which is a collection of all the crônicas she wrote, but it reads sort of like diary entries and reminds me very much of the book of disquiet by pessoa. but yes lispector is just so incredible.
