But how are services actually coming up, eg simple web page. Would recommend adding startup script in VMSS settings for each machine that comes up.

If you rdp into the VMSS, you get to one specific machine from the set, right? What if you change things inside of it? It will be different and won't be functioning as a clone. Isn't that a problem?

Hi i had one doubt ...you said that by default we cant connect to virtual machine through internet because of security reason..then what is normal/secure way we can use to connect to vm...isnt vm supposed to be access through internet via rdp

Scale set is not working in free account: 3 public IP addresses are required for this configuration, but only 2 (of 3) are available in your Free Trial subscription. To meet your quota, you can disable the public IP address of the new network interface card(s) or limit the number of VMSS instances requested on the Scale tab to get under the limit.
