Two simple fixes imo;
1; allow the lstar to equip laser sight as well as barrel stabiliser
2; allow the lstar to equip digithreat

I actually really enjoy the LStar. I find it perfect for midrange since it does quite a bit of damage per bullet. I use rampart too, so the amped shields and her passive for more ammo really gives the boost it needs.

The lstar is alright. Especially if you get headshots cause it’s like a flash bang to the enemy. But sometimes I lose them in my sights due to the red butterflies coming out my gun all over the place. It’s pretty easy to control if someone doesn’t one clip you instantly

Whenever it was a care package weapon with a digital threat, it definitely was something to fear. Now it's bleh, ain't something you would pick up since the nemesis does a better job.

L star was so much fun to use in titan fall 2, I’d go back in time to play that game on launch again, best moment of my childhood

I remember back in season 5ish I would run it as my secondary to up close squad wipe hipfire. Now that I’m actually good at the game r3 and flatline are just too good.

But every session I find at least one game where situation presents itself and I’m like “aight boutta have a crazy lstar game it’s just gonna happen let’s go”. Normally leads to disappoint with a few good kills lol

Hipfire on the l-star is really good, though, so it's a really good weapon off drop

the L-star is genuinely my favorite weapon it's just sad to see how badly it gets dunked on by the other energy weapons alone

Its utility. Something to use until you pick up what you want. Its mid at everything, but never terrible. The biggest fault is the travel speed of the rounds.

The Lstar can actually do really well with a 2x4 if you can control a burst. The larger projectiles make it decent at racking up damage and applying pressure to a team at range.

I only play them when I take rampart because overheating doesn't go that fast and fast reloading

As a rampart main (she have passive that makes all lmg-s more ammo capacity) I kinda want to make use of that, but honestly don't like any lmg-s aside from maybe rampage, which is ok on mid range but completely sucks when it comes to short-range, and l-star. It is kinda ok because no reloads, but fire rate, accuracy, dmg, all kind of sucks. Still trying to make use of it at least on very first stages of game

i think as asolo no fill player this gun might be the best one to land on off drop if you get the ammo. there are very few guns that you can win a bad 1v3 with but with good heat control, I've shredded a few bad fights i shouldn't win.

For me, the L-star is not very good because of weird recoil pattern. If the L-star has a more stable and low recoil pattern, it will be stronger and can compete against R-301.

I used the Lstar in my last game in ranked and I one clipped everyone, It definitely in not bad

It's a good weapon fighting people off drop, and the hip fire imo is very good

L-star would be decent if I can see where the hell I'm shooting at. The damn thing light up while doing piss poor performance at any range.

With Ballistics new abilities (despite it going into the crafting machine). I think having this gun as a sling weapon or a secondary would be OP. I used to use it and the alternator in TF2. It may not have the best accuracy but if you're in a situation where you have the auto reload and unlimited ammo, it's an absolute menace at hipfire when it comes to close range fights. Mix that with smart shooting you'll essentially never have to reload if you don't over heat it. Allowing you to essentially never have to stop shooting. It'll allow for more focus on movement mechanics with unlimited ammo. It's broken. It'll kill a red shield with a second or two to spare without overheating. Imagine mixing that with unlimited ammo....
