Unihertz 8849 Tank 3S: They Said it Was Smaller...

A follow up to my Tank 3 Pro review, the folks at Unihertz sent over the Tank 3S, which they claimed was a SMALLER version of the phone. I guess if I squint a bit, I could see how this might be a little smaller?

I know I'm a few months late to the party but I was contemplating purchasing this "telecommunication computing appliance" for a while, and after watching this video and hearing how it injured your foot, I was sold purely for the fact that it also has one more commonly overlooked feature... The ability to absolutely CLOBBER someone and is an ACTUAL lethal weapon. All bullshit aside this thing is a demon and outperforms any phone I've EVER had, as well as my basic consumer desktop and several laptops from different brands, as well as an iPad, NOTHING I had was capable of editing my insta360 videos efficiently without major lag and buffering, that took forever. Even if I got through that frustrating step, I still had to export the final edit to my device, that was physical hell. A 5 minute video would take around 15-20 minutes to export. I just tried that same process on my tank 3S, 5min video, HOLY SHIT! Edited SEAMLESSLY, ZERO LAG and NO buffering! EXPORTED IN 4K ULTRA HIGH DEF! WITHIN 2 FUCKING MINUTES This thing YEETED the video to my galley! BRUH. If you're considering getting one of these, stop thinking about it and just buy it. You definitely won't regret it. As far as the cons, I've only found one, for whatever reason, "the Instagram app isn't compatible with this device" according to the Google playstore. Whatever I need less social media interaction anyway. I can still access insta through the web portal but hey, it has definitely decreased my online presence and I'd call that a win over a con. As a final point, this thing gets attention EVERYWHERE I go, (when I'm not using it to discreetly manipulate TV's in bars and restaurants with the IR blaster😈) people start to notice the BRICK I pull out of my pocket, start asking about it, and then have a literal aneurysm when I tell them it's my phone. As I start talking about all the features and functions, then fire off the projector as a Grand finale, other people start to gather around and stare in shock like I've just shown them a blackberry and it's 1980. I like to finish that presentation asking "can your iPhone do that?" And then walk away with a confident swagger while their brain is still trying to process what they've just witnessed, and the looks on their faces are comical. It's not just a device, it's an experience worth EVERY penny!

Unihertz is a fun brand, if not a little outlandish. They make phones that feel like they were thought up by a focus group of kids. The phone's just never really stand up due to where they cut corners

You know what would be hilarious take it to the local carrier stores ask them if they carry the phone and then show them what the phone can do and get their reaction

Thanks for a terrific video. My S8 Active with a tough case is, and i suspect always will be, my fave phone. There is nothing in the Samsung range that comes close. About to order an Ulefone Power Armour 16S. Fingers crossed. Peace.

Please help me I bought a tank 3 s and it doesn't have a charger. I charge it with 67 watts but it charges in 6 hours, there is no fast charging message. It charges 18 percent in 1 hour. What if I buy a 66 watt charger? Is this a problem? When you plug the phone into the charger, does it say "66 watt fast charging"? Please plug it into the charger and does it say "66 watt fast charging"?

I wonder how it holds up to the doogee sMini. It has a tiny screen but is a rugged phone with a relatively large battery. Oddly one of the last options for people that want a small phone
