Schoenhut toy piano

With only three octaves max, limited dynamic range, and a sustain so short you won't notice the lack of dampers, toy pianos are hardly substitutes for the real thing. Nevertheless, their playful, charming, almost ethereal tone has inspired both professional performers and composers alike, and feeling their draw myself I decided to add one to my arsenal.

This is just a quick 'playing around on my new instrument' vid. I'm not exactly sure what I'm going to do with the instrument yet, but I may have more in the future.

Gear: Schoenhut 37 Key Concert Baby Grand, Panasonic HDC-TM900 (video), Zoom H4n (audio)

Are these collectible? I was given one in the original box with a hand written receipt from schoenhut dated 3/15/2000 showing a, $449.00 Down Payment ( H 379 M concert grand piano) . It has 22 white keys. I don't want my young son to destroy it if it's not a child's toy. Thank you in advance

Had I known this piano is SUPPOSED to sound like this...I wouldn't have bought it. It hurts my ears. 😬
