13:04 that "lid" is called a wave guide. It shapes the polar pattern of the compression driver.

100% agree: Best review on YT 👍 "trinityprosound" did some very good breakdowns but sadly stopped 5yeas ago, I like seeing the chassis, magnet, VC, damping material, how they stiffened the sub, etc etc. And you do it waayyyy better compared to a lot of even the BIGGEST DJ´s on YT doing "reviews", who also often are biased by what they get for doing the review in form of gear or discounts. I own RCF tops+subs myself and even I often think "whooaarr....stop the sales-speak dude" when I see a RCF speaker reviewed by some DJ´s. I´m a bit disapointed the QSC only is a 12" and 2, 5"VC, BUT the 145dg wide dispersion in the top is just love at first sight🥰 A KC-15 with 15"sub + 2x 6, 5" mid + 1" Horn (with 1.5/1, 75" VC) could be awsome. I may have RCF now but I´m no fanboy and welcome every new speaker, the more competition between the brands the better speakers for us as buyers 👍

I’ve never seen a breakdown of gear like this in my life 🤣 you guys get inside of every nook and cranny, I’m seriously considering getting these but maybe in about 2-3 months and once I get in front of one also.
