Every year I wanna go full of differentials and semi punts and ever year I only have a couple. I might wildcard into an eccentric gambler team… the more my team looks like the creators template the less fun it is.

Chelsea haven’t looked organised defensively so far, I can’t see much value in bringing in a Chelsea defender until I see more promise in that defensive structure. No Liverpool defender in draft is puzzling given the fixture run and solid defence so far.

Fran Do u prefer semenyo or evanilson and why?

Hi Fran, solid draft similar to a draft I had. Only thing to possibly consider is this, there seems to be more “sub-premium” midfielders like Saka, Son & Palmer who can get close to matching Salah but Haaland seems to be in a league of his own compared with the other forwards. Hence I think having Haaland over Salah is more optimal.

Yes, Trent over Gvardiol for sure. Excellent draft. I probably won't WC but this is pretty much the same draft I cooked up. Eva, Colwill, Mosq, Martinez -> Armstrong, Konsa, Lewis, Flekken are the only differences.

Hi Fran. I’m planning to bring in Konsa and Palmer for Gabriel and Saka in GW4, before Wildcarding in GW6, moving back to Arsenal assets. Doesn’t wildcarding now mean you’re straddling both sides of the fence as far as fixtures are concerned?

Wildcarding without Haaland seems too risky. He's a difficult asset to slot back in and would need multiple transfers. He's also the only game-changer forward capable of 3+ goals in a game consistently. Personally, I would always wildcard with Haaland + 2 premium midfielders (Salah, Saka, Palmer). You can go for 3 premium midfielders if you go with a 4.5m trio defence + Raya (my preferred option) or keep a similar defence to yours now and pay for Haaland by upgrading Watkins with money from one of the premium midfielders.

Similar wc draft, have Jota>Mbeumo (will get Mbeumo for him in gw6), Havertz>Watkins, Wissa>JP (rotates better then evanlinson longer term+kinda cover Mbeumo this week), TAA>Gvardiol, Konsa>colwill, 4.5 gk>Marrinez. Which 4.5 GK would be be the best on a wc?

Nice, as always. I feel like if you're considering Evanilson then Semenyo should be a consideration. He looks like the new talisman.

Also, the same argument for Mbeumo works well for Mitoma.

What do you think of robert sanchez for a wc draft? Not sure if there is a rotation risk with Chelsea gks since they employ enough gks to create a whole starting xi

Regarding Emilio Martinez; he did actually concede 5 goals against Leicester over 2 games last year, 8 goals the last 6 against Wolverhampton (1 in each game last season), 9 goals against Man U the last 5 games (5 goals last season) and 2 goals against Fulham last season. Was he (and the AVL defense) really that great in the PL last season?
