This helped so much Steve! Thank you so much. I was a lab tech for a crown and bridge lab. Now I’m the only one doing the sales for them. It’s been a ride! From being so introverted in a lab to going out meeting new dentists!

I've heard of some great groups on Facebook that some dental labs have had a lot of success in finding clients. It's effective because they can speak to the dentist directly and not have to deal with any gatekeepers. Great video!

Not sure if you still see these. I am a 1 year old 2 person full service lab for now. Have room to grow. Very limited ortho because of experience but training more with that. When we go out marketing, we meet the front desk bulldog etc and meet quite a few Dr's pretty often. But SO many times either or both say OMG we are so fed up with our lab, or we are looking for a new one. And the big one is we'd love to give you a try, we'd rather have a local lab. But our phone never rings from them. We follow up and say hi again etc and they are just as excited and promising but never call. How can we get them to pick up that phone without just bugging them a hundred times? Allen

Hi I just subscribed. I am a lab technician and was offered the opportunity to go into sales/marketing our lab. I’m wondering if you can make an updated video like this one? Idk maybe more useful tips ? I want to learn and this is the only useful video on lab sales that I’ve came across. Thanks for the video I appreciate your willing to show and share your experience!!!! So many people are not willing to

Hi, I work for a company that we started our Digital Lab a year ago. I used to make appliances for 3 local offices old school with stone models and torch 😊 but know we have 14 offices, a 3d printer, and a laser welder. But now I am stressing when we receive a prescription for a re-make. I want to ask you and whoever want to give me their opinion. What is the percentage of re-makes that you receive? How can I improve and prevent breakages? Most of them are bad habits appliances, and Facemask hooks sometimes. Actually, I watched your video talking about your bad experience with a habit appliance. Thank you. Hopefully, you can reply to my comment, please.

Hey steve. Starting my dental lab in TN after being in the field 10 years both in digital, fixed, and removables.
Its going to be acrylic removables only for thats all i can manage.
What were the most common preventable mistakes you made. Any additional advice you can think of since its been 6 years since the release of this video? Have views changed???

How did you become an ortho lab technician from being a dental lab technician? What additional courses did you take?

My father and I always consider with a lot of consideration the person at the desck. Because they are the "Gate Keeper" that give you a chance or not^^
