My dad first showed me this song and he said Ben Rector wrote this when his daughter was born. I'm the oldest of five kids. I'm the only girl. I start crying when I hear this song.

Can I just say, shame on the two of you who gave a thumbs down. Ben, you captured a firefly with this one. The world and the business of life drowns the romance out of our lives. You were able to capture in lyric the mystique of the woman we love, that no man has ever found the appropriate words for. No lens, no mirror, and interestingly even her eyes, can’t see the magic. Beautiful. This song has wooed me back to my own heart, and more importantly, that of my lovely wife.
