The Gaming iMac May Be Coming But Will Hit a Wall of Compatibility

Following rumours that Apple wants to address the needs of gamers with a future M-series chip, a designer has come up with concept art that shows what a gaming iMac could look like. Thanks to Apple's expertise in chip design - proven by the powerful M1 Chip - it is possible that Apple will be able to address a whole new target group in the future: gamers. Apple has so far focused largely on apps for the iPhone, iPad or Apple TV when it comes to gaming, but gaming on the Mac is becoming more and more popular and the selection of games is growing. Read: Best Games on the Mac. Sure, no Mac can take on a real gaming PC right now, but that doesn't mean that will never be the case. All this is made possible by the M1 chip and its further development. In the future, it might well be conceivable that Triple-A games will also run on a Mac.

Would you ever or have you ever gamed on an Apple PC?

It would be ironic since for about 40 years they dismissed gaming as an option. Apple felt they were to professional for it but even in professional stuff most computers out spec them. Although with the M1 they have a lot of potential especially since you could already run some games ok on Mac.

I was a Mac user for almost two decades since the 90s. I don't use them anymore. They are good at what they do, yet gaming isn't one of them. I don't think Apple will go down the gaming path. Not exclusively anyway. Not enough profit in it for them as most gamers won't jump ship. The only way they would is if they offered significantly higher performance per dollar from their new chips etc. Maybe their upcoming hardware has some surprises?

Last time I Touched a Macintosh was 80's in Middle School playing Oregon Trail😆. I've literally never even held a iPhone🤫.
The iPad however I am trying to save up for🤞 do to the special things, apps, etc it has that help Autistic people (for my daughter). The art program on it seems badass too.

Apple sucks I bought a MacBook and I later discovered I can’t game worth sh so DO NOT try gaming on apple products they horrible except IPad
