Virtues of fasting on Mondays and Thursdays

Abu Qatadah al-Ansari narrated that the Messenger of Allah  ﷺ (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was asked about fasting on Mondays.

He  ﷺ said: “On that day I was born,
and on it the Revelation came to me.”

(Narrated by Muslim, 1162)

‘Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said:
The Prophet ﷺ (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was keen to fast on Mondays and Thursdays.

(Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 745; al-Nasai, 2361; Ibn Majah, 1739; classed as saheeh by al-Albani in Saheeh al-Targheeb, 1044) 

Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

“Deeds are shown (to Allah) on Mondays and Thursdays,
and I like my deeds to be shown when I am fasting.”

(Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 747;
classed as saheeh by al-Albani in Saheeh al-Targheeb, 1041)

Shaddad ibn Aws narrates that the Prophet ﷺ said;

"The most superior way of asking for forgiveness from Allah is to say the following dua.

If somebody recites it during the day with firm faith in it,
and dies on the same day before the evening,
he will be from the people of Paradise;
And if somebody recites it at night with firm faith in it,
and dies before the morning,
he will be from the people of Paradise.”

اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لا إِلَهَ إِلا
أَنْتَ خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُك
وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ
أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ
أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ
وَأَبُوءُ لَكَ بِذَنْبِي
فَاغْفِرْ لِي فَإِنَّهُ لا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلا أَنْتَ

Allahumma anta Rabbi la ilaha illa
Anta Khalaqtani wa ana abduka,
wa ana ‘ala ahdika wa wa’dika mastata’tu,
A’udhu bika min Sharri ma sana’tu,
abu’u Laka bini’matika ‘alaiya,
wa Abu’u Laka bidhanbi
faghfirli fainnahu la yaghfiru adhdhunuba illa anta

O Allah! You are my Lord! None has the right to be worshipped but You.
You created me and I am Your slave,
And I am faithful to my covenant and my promise as much as I can.
I seek refuge with You from all the evil I have done.
I acknowledge before You all the blessings You have bestowed upon me,
And I confess to You all my sins.
So I entreat You to forgive my sins,
for nobody can forgive sins except You.

(Sahih Al-Bukhari )

Some believer believes that Allah is existing inside his body, while the other believes the Allah is dwelling at the Throne .in we lean in profound about Allah in islam such as Tauhid, it may turns onto other category meaning what Allah looks like and would be more rising questions.

Verily, We created man of the best stature (mould), (QS At Tin:4)

And We had certainly given Luqman wisdom [and said], "Be grateful to Allah ." And whoever is grateful is grateful for [the benefit of] himself. And whoever denies [His favor] - then indeed, Allah is Free of need and Praiseworthy.(QS Luqman:12)

And if any strive (with might and main), they do so for their own souls: for Allah is free of all needs from all creation.(QS Al Ankabut:6)
