Gator fan and alum here—have listened in for a while as I do enjoy and appreciate the conversation. FSU’s season has been crazier than anything I could’ve ever imagined as a native Floridian growing up watching Bowden-Spurrier (and huge Bolts/Bucs fan, Tom), and can absolutely appreciate the great rivalry that is UF-FSU. Most forget just how important this rivalry was in the 90s to the national conversation and it was a blast to watch. I don’t think this game is going to be nearly as lopsided as people think. FSU always plays us tough and UF has been incredibly inconsistent all year, only finding a bit of momentum down the stretch, but the last two games have not been blowouts as you pointed out. UF is still very much a work in progress. Throw out the records in rivalries, right? I think that applies here and think FSU will give the Gators all they can handle. Still a ton of talent on that team. Cheers to a great game and rivalry!

There is a .01% chance Norvell turns this around... Not only is the damage too deep, but he is probably the biggest problem. The teams inability to block or tackle or pick up a blitz or to call the right play at the right time is egregious. Even when Norvell was winning games he was barely winning them and trying really hard to lose them. This was his year to take the next step and it's just done with him as the coach I just can't believe that he can turn this around.

Both of our QBs leave after the UF game. I don't see why either would stay. It would be better for them to be backups elsewhere than potential starters on a rebuild FSU team over the next three years.

The scary part about this game is Florida as mentioned is a much much much better team than Charleston Southern so us running the ball probably isn’t going to happen so we’re pretty much stuck with screens and slants and I hope our wide receivers will hang onto the ball
