In this edition of Urban Debate, anchor Shreya Dhoundial discusses how the controversy over the NEET exam has intensified, with the NSUI escalating tensions by putting the National Testing Agency (NTA) "under lockdown." What began as a legal dispute has now turned into a street protest, with demonstrators demanding a re-examination, the dissolution of the NTA, and the resignation of the responsible minister.
A panel of experts has joined Shreya Dhoundial to discuss this in detail. NET Aspirant, Karmendu Agarwal shares insight. Also, Founder NEETPrep, Kapil Gupta says “Students who are between 600-655 they are the ones who feel left out due to the jump in cut-off marks, they want RE-NEET..” Watch the full discussion to know more and follow Mirror Now for the latest updates.

You are absolutely right. NEET score is manipulated to the extent that the average mark increased by roughly 40 marks. Is it not a clear indication of large scale scam? Poor Students with 600-650 marks won’t get government college seats.

We don't want re NEET for all. Re NEET will not give justice to students those who got ranks genuinely. Some political parties playing cheap politics for their advantage but not for the welfare of students. Wherever problem is there it is to be addressed.

What will SC do?. Judges are pliable and judgements are dictated by the Government and pronounced by Judges. It’s that simple. As the anchor pointed out, if the investigation has to be conducted thoroughly and completely, it can take a long time and the examination cannot be postponed for a long time since the academic year is about to start. It’s very very unfortunate that paper leaks have become too widespread and recurring and the governments-both centre and states- have failed again and again to stem the rot.

What cbi wii do here
Things will get prolonged here.
Better to go fr anothere exams
For kids who studied well and determined surely they will have good score. And who has cheated in previous exam uska doodh ka doodh pani ho jaega.
Cbi will only waste time.
So both things should happen hand on hand simultaneously.
When I was in 2nd year of mbbs. Microbiology paper was leaked during our exam.
And again exam was repeated for all of us.
I know it's tedious to revise all things again.
But still we sat for exams and passed it.

Coaching institutes should stay away from this. Yesterday, supreme court warned them.

The anchor has rightly pointed out as to how can the govt assertively says that the leak is local, when previously they confidently denied of any such irregularities..it seems like an octopus with its tentacles spread across many States..too extensive to conclude and shut the case in 15 days..nta is very much involved in this matter along with some coaching giants..yet to unfold..
